ABOUT ME
Dawn is a trumpet performer and private teacher available for gigs & lessons. She plays and teaches all styles of music including jazz, classical, blues, shows, and lessons.
Dawn has been a trumpet performer and private instructor in the Hartford area for over 3 decades. She has taught at Music & Arts, Varela Music & Windsor Music Center. She has performed with several rock/blues horn bands including Impact, Briefcase Full of Blues, Soul Exceptions, Still Kickin' and the Big City Horns along with the all girl rock band Ms. BHaven. Dawn has also played in various jazz groups including City Lights Jazz Orchestra, Dick Santi Orchestra, Al Fenton Big Band & Simply Swing.
Dawn is currently performing with her own band Sazzy Brass (5 piece - jazz) and Smooth Operator (3 piece - blend) along with being a member of DenMar Jazz combo (3 piece jazz).
